This painting is Bob's depiction of the view from his Alaska Airlines flight during landing last summer.  The plane was just banking over the Susitna Flats when he spotted the squall just beyond Fire Island and snapped a quick photo which he used as the basis for the painting.  The painting is 24" x 24" (plus the frame).  It is an oil painting on canvas and is nicely framed in a Maple "floater" frame.
