Can I buy tickets at the door?
No. All tickets must be purchased in advance and no tickets will be available at the door.
Is there parking available?
Yes, parking is available at the parking garage next to the hotel. Valet is also available with a rate of $36 for 24 hours.
Is there a special hotel rate if we choose to stay the night?
Yes, the event rate is $149 for a Deluxe Room and $179 for a Junior Suite for the evening. Please call hotel reservations at 1-800-843-1950 and reference “Anchorage Downtown Rotary”
Do I have to check-in at the event once I’ve pre-registered online?
Yes, though this will go very quickly for those that pre-registered. When checking in at the event we will provide you with a program that includes your bidder number.
Do I need to bring cash?
All bars will accept cash and credit cards. Everything else at the event will be purchased using the bid number you're given at the check-in, or via your mobile device. This includes auction items and raffle tickets, although cash will still be accepted for split-the-pot tickets.
I heard you're doing mobile bidding for the silent auction. Will you also have the sheets where I write my bids?
No, all bidding will be done using your smart phone. Don't worry though; you won't need a special app. When the auction opens, you'll receive a text to the mobile phone number you listed in your registration. You'll click a link in that text and the bidding fun begins!
Am I going to have to stand in line at the end?
At the end of the evening, the check-out process will run efficiently because your credit card information will have been entered into our system prior to or at the beginning of the event. The items you've purchased will be ready for you as leave for the evening.
